Selects Shine at USHL Combine
The LA Selects Bantam AAAs were very well represented this past weekend at the USHL Combine in Chicago.

Every USHL Team was represented
and many Head and assistant Coaches were either on a bench for one of the 12 teams or in the stands evaluating this talented group.

Max Becker and Ryan Siroky found the twine often and had USHL staff convinced that they would both be impact players in the USHL in the future.

Trevor Moore was his creative self scoring goals and setting up others and was in on all three tallies for his team in the AllStar Game on Sunday.

David Longaker had a coming out party to all watching as he played solid defence and contributed offensively with great patience and poise.

Erik Schulte was his stay at home self blocking shots and playing physical but had everyone one their feet for what proved to be the best bout of the Combine when he squared off with Taylor Davis, a New Jersey tough guy who challenged every player twice throughout the 4 day combine. Ryan Siroky played the final two games including the Allstar Game with a broken nose but battlled hard and turned a lot of heads.

O'meed Alidadi , who backed up Eric Comrie
at Nationals made the Allstar game and had numerous big saves throughout the Combine.

LA Select Coach Rick Kelly who now works for the USHL Development staff was in attendance evaluating the 200+ prospects said he was very proud of the way the Select Players competed and showcased their talent at the event.
The Combine which is guided under the direction of Bob Thorton was a first class camp that included off ice testing and training with Brantford Native Mick Ferras and his staff and all of the players involved were introduced to USHL in a very positive and extremely competitive and professional fashion.

USHL Commissioner Skip Prince
was very impressed and pleased that
15 States and Canada were represented in the Allstar Game and that more and more Californians are rising to the top as there were players
from San Diego, San Jose, and California Heat in
attendance.
